This is an excellent book strongly recommended. It was published in my series “Contemporary Chemical Physics” by World Scientific in 2003 and the clear and simple refutation of Bohr / Heisenberg is found on pp. 120 ff. using a super resolution optical microscope. The experiments consisted of observing a microscopic particle interacting with an incoming photon. The maximum uncertainty in momentum is calculated using the type of theory in UFT 158 ff. Croca follows the treatment by L. de Broglie in his book, whose title I translate from French: “The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle and Probabilistic Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics”. I can develop this type of theory in UFT 175 using the methods of UFT 158 ff. This fact alone means that the so called uncertainty principle is shaky in the extreme, as is the whole edifice of the old standard model, for reasons given in UFT 158 ff and the lectures on www.aias.us. Using the new types of super resolution optical microscopes now available there are resolutions of delta x about lambda / 50 or better. As in eq. (4.8.10), page 125 of Croca, this gives delta x delta p = h /25, refuting Bohr Heisenberg (delta x delta p = h). The experiment could be improved so that single photons can be measured. In UFT 175 I intend to examine the fundamental uncertainty in momentum used by all authors in this type of experiment and see if it stands up to scrutiny. In view of UFT 158 ff. I doubt it. All that Bohr did in 1927 was to Fourier transform a Gaussian function to give another Gaussian function. That produces delta x delta p = 1. Big deal. Professor Croca acknowledges Prof. J. Andrade e Silva in his introduction. Prof. Andrade e Silva worked with Professor Louis de Boglie and the former was a champion of free, responsible science carried out by individuals with personal intellectual courage in the words of Prof. Croca. Prof. Jean Pierre Vigier mentioned to me at Vigier One that Louis de Broglie was “shouted down” at the 1927 Solvay Conference, in which all was not pure science.

Subject: 173(6): Hamiltonian Formulation of the Fermion Equation

This is the hamiltonian formulation giving the equation of motion and constants of motion. The first five terms in the hamiltonian are given in the non-relativistic approximation E about m c squared which leads to the g = 2 Lande factor of the anomalous Zeeman effect and Thomas factor of 2 that is observed in spin orbit splitting in spectra. Note carefully that 4 x 4 matrices and negative energy are nowhere used, yet all known spectral features are deduced. Sir William Rowan Hamilton came close to discovering quantum mechanics in the Hamilton Principle of Least Action, (see Peter Atkins, “Molecular Quantum Mechanics”) and was a predecessor on the Civil List.
